Laal Mirch, also known as Kashmiri Laal mirch, is a must in every kitchen and tops the common name on spices list. It is used to make a dish more spicy, flavorful, and also for a gorgeous red hue. It acts like a natural food color and makes the dish more presentable. The only thing to note here is that one should add Laal mirch into their recipes according to their spice tolerance.

This spice masala gives a vibrant red colour and spiciness to your dish. This Red chilli is one of the most common used Indian masala as it’s extensively used in all the Indian cuisines. It is an important ingredient for preparing chutneys, curries, gravies and sauces in any Indian cuisine.

Our Pickle recipe is inspired from the traditional Indian recipe handed over to us over generations.

First, the red chillis are washed properly and dried in the sun. Then we cut the stalk and separate the seeds

After separating them, the seeds are added to the grinder to turn them into fine powder and mixed with spices.

The mixture is prepared in mustard oil and is stuffed into the Mirchi when ready.
The stuffed Chillis are then kept in the sun for 3-4 days.
Once the pickle is completely dry, it is dipped in mustard oil and stored in Martabaan and is ready to buy.
